We are Cat-Like Tread, an Edinburgh based Fringe theatre company with a love of all things Gilbert and Sullivan.

The company was formed by a group of friends, Sarah, Farlane and Vinca, who all love to perform.  We assembled a production team, recruited an awesome cast and crew and took to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe stage in 2014 with our debut production of The Pirates of Penzance at Spotlites @ The Merchants' Hall.   The show was a great success, with lots of fun for audience and performers alike.  In 2015, we followed up with our second venture, H.M.S. Pinafore at Paradise in Augustine's.  It was another exciting production, including five nights where we sold out!  We've just completed our run for Fringe 2016 of The Mikado at SpaceTriplex, and are now looking forward to getting stuck into planning for next year's adventure...

We hold open auditions each year for the cast, and anyone is welcome as long as they are 18 or over at the time of the show (we need to insist on this for insurance purposes).  We're a friendly company who love to socialise - you can usually find the cast and crew at the pub after rehearsals, and many of our members perform with other societies and choirs, which leads to lots of Cat-Like Trips to show support!
